 The make-up air unit (MAU) is responsible for the initial filtration of external air, giving it the greatest impact on indoor air conditions of any airborne molecular contaminant (AMC) control element. It is also the most energy-intensive, due to its combined particulate matter (PM) filtration, AMC filtration, positive indoor pressure maintenance, and ambient humidity control workload.

In addition to standard V-shaped and box-shaped filters, Yesiang's MAU solution also has a patented cylindrical cartridge-based filtration system available, which increases filtration efficiency, reduces pressure loss, and saves energy, while also being ISO 14067:2018 and BS 8001:2017 certified for energy efficiency and sustainability, reducing carbon emissions by roughly 25% compared to single-use products.
